Two additional A-320 aircraft are expected in the fleet of Ibom Air soon.
This will bring the total number of aircraft in the fleet to nine.
The State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel announced this at the United Evangelical Church, Asuna Superintendency, Etinan local government area, where he fellowshipped on the 70th birthday celebration and thanksgiving service of the Chief Executive Officer of Ibom Air, Captain Mfon Udom.
Governor Emmanuel recalled how he conceived the idea that later birthed the state airline, Ibom Air, and appreciated the celebrator, Captain Mfon Udom for his encouragement towards the realization of the dream despite the hurdles encountered.
He described Captain Udom as one who is passionate, development driven, and dedicated in God’s vineyard as church Chairman, joining in thanksgiving to God for keeping him in good health at 70.
As a thanksgiving memorial, Governor Emmanuel pledged a complete overhauling of the sound system in the church at Asuna even as he prayed for God’s continued grace on Captain Udom to record many more years.

The celebrator, Captain Mfon Udom thanked God for the journey so far and the good health at 70, expressing deep appreciation to God for the gift of life, and very good friends who turned brothers in the course of life’s journey.
Captain Udom said above everything else, one needed good family and friends to live well at seventy, noting that at 70 he felt fulfilled.
He pledged to replace the furniture in the church as a token of thanksgiving to God, among other gestures to show appreciation to God.
The Superintending pastor, Reverend Israel Udokpo preaching on the topic ‘THANKSGIVING FOR MEETING OUR NEEDS’ said it was needful to thank God joyfully, and with a grateful heart as it moves God and attracts more blessings.
The high point of the event was the cutting of the 70th birthday cake by the celebrator, Captain Mfon Udom alongside friends and family.
