Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation is to partner Public Complaints Commission to design programmes to sensitize the public on the activities and functions of the Commission.
The Director-General of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, Pastor Anietie Ukpe stated this, when he received, in his office, the Federal Commissioner in-charge of Public Complaints Commission in Uyo.
Pastor Ukpe said AKBC, being a responsible Corporate citizen of the state, is to support organizations and agencies with noble ideals and mandates, such as Public Complaints Commission .
The Director-General tasked the management of the Commission to endeavour to live up to the mandate of the Commission, by making sure that people who visit the commission for any services, are treated well.
In his remarks, the Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Akwa Ibom State Office, Prince Ubong Uwah said the visit to AKBC was to seek administrative co-operation.
According to him, the Commission works to ensure that administrative actions by any person or institution do not perpetuate any act of injustice against any citizen or resident of Nigeria.
